Li-Ki

Li-Ki
   The fifth of the nine authoritative works on Confucianism. The name means ‘Book of Rites’ and the text contains rules for life and conduct based on the teachings of Confucius. The fortysix chapters of which it now consists were put together in the second century BC.
   The preceding work in the series was the Chun-Tsiu; the next work is the first Shu, the Lun-Yu.
